Construction & Materials
Cast Aluminum Construction
Each Imperial product is constructed of the highest-quality, solid cast aluminum and assembled using rust-free and worry-free stainless steel hardware. Aluminum is a strong, lightweight metal that is resistant to rust, corrosion, and environmental damage, making it the optimal choice for outdoor products. The process of sand-casting each mold helps to maintain a superior level of quality control.
Powder-Coated Finish
Following casting, each piece is powder coated at a high temperature using an industrial strength enamel paint to provide a smooth, beautiful, and extremely durable finish that will stand the test of time. Products are offered in a variety of classic colors, so be sure to browse our color options.
Stainless Steel Hardware
Stainless steel hardware and locking mechanisms round out the tough construction of the Imperial product line. Stainless steel offers the same rust and corrosion resistance similar to aluminum while contributing added strength where it is needed most. This yields a finished product that is durable, secure and built to last.

Overview of Imperial Components
To design a custom package, simply choose a mailbox post, address number plate, and a standard or estate-sized mailbox. An easily-mounted newspaper holder is a valuable option to keep your daily editions safe and dry. Beyond your mailbox system, Imperial offers street signs, street lamps, and address plaques to perfectly compliment your chosen package.
Selecting Your Imperial Systems Post
Imperial posts boast superior style and function, containing a sturdy base, decorative pole, and grand finial. They are engineered using extruded aluminum for durability, offering a strong foundation for your mailbox. Each post is expertly crafted using the same cast-aluminum and powder-coating processes as the entire Imperial line.
Twin and Multi-Unit Mailbox Systems
Imperial offers both Plate Extensions (for existing mailbox posts) and Twin and Multi-Unit Mailbox Systems to configure a delivery system for one location servicing multiple addresses. A gorgeous solution to the sometimes mundane multi-mailbox systems, Imperial Multi-Unit Systems will add style, sophistication and superior function to your multi-dwelling residential projects.
Plate Extensions
Plate extensions bolt to your existing Imperial Mailbox Post, allowing the mounting of a mailbox or mailboxes on two opposite sides of the post. Choose from Twin, Triple or Quad Plate Extensions in your chosen finish for your multi-dwelling needs.
Twin Mailbox Systems
For convenience and ease of selection, we offer an extensive selection of pre-configured Twin Mailbox Systems to meet your multi-dwelling needs with optimal style and function. Complete with Address Plates on both mailboxes and newspaper holders for each tenant, the Twin systems offer superior quality, ease of use, and aesthetic appeal. Assembly and Installation
Installation steps:
- Attach the number plate to the top of the mailbox.
- If you have a newspaper holder, use 6-inch straps (not included) to keep your newspaper holder in place during assembly.
- The back of the mailbox and the back of the newspaper holder should be flush with each other.
- Attach scroll support (A) to the bottom of the mailbox.
- Place top two bolts in post and mailbox. Do not tighten.
- Lift front of the mailbox to place scroll support dowel pin into the post.
- Attach lower bolts and tighten all.
- Place assembled post into the hole, align the box with the curb line, and add concrete.
- If necessary, drive a stake into the ground 3 or 4 feet behind the post. Tie a string from the stake to the top of the mailbox post to keep it plumb while the concrete sets.
